San Pedro: Man Shot After Bar Fight

12.31.2018 | 12:37 AM | SAN PEDRO – A man was shot after a bar fight in San Pedro, early Monday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting in the 300 block of West 6th Street in San Pedro neighborhood around 12:37 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a man who had been shot.

Firefighter paramedics treated the male gunshot victim on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Initial reports indicate a group got into a fight outside a bar. The group continued fighting nearby when a shot was heard.

Police discovered what they believe to be the shooting weapon laying on the sidewalk.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation.
