San Juan Capistrano: Inferno Destroys Home

01.02.2020 | 3:50 AM | SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO – A home was obliterated by a massive fire, early Thursday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of residential structure fire burning near the intersection of Strawberry Lane and Ortega Highway around 3:50 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a two-story detached home completely engulfed in flames and initiated an aggressive fire attack.

Firefighters worked for approximately 30 minutes using deck guns on their apparatus to douse the flames before they could spread to neighboring homes.

No residents from the involved structure were immediately located.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
