San Jose: Woman Seriously Injured In Rollover Crash
12.16.2018 | 11:00 PM | SAN JOSE – A woman was cut from her car after a serious rollover crash that also severed her arm, Sunday night.
Authorities responded to reports of a rollover crash on the eastbound SR-237 freeway near Zanker around 11:00 PM.
Officials arriving on scene located a vehicle down an embankment with a female driver trapped inside.
Crews began efforts to extricate the woman from the vehicle and determined the woman’s arm had been severed.
Within 25 minutes crews freed the woman from the vehicle and transported her to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The woman’s arm was located during a search of the area and also sent with the woman to an area hospital.
The California Highway Patrol was on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash including rain slicked roads.
