San Jose: Woman Killed By Hit And Run Driver

12.17.2018 | 12:45 AM | SAN JOSE – Police were searching for a hit and run driver who left a woman for dead, early Monday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a person down in the roadway near North 1st and East Rosemary streets around 12:45 AM.

Deputies arriving on scene located a woman down in the roadway and began performing life-saving measures including CPR.

Firefighter paramedics arriving on scene took over CPR and transported the woman to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the woman fled the scene.

No vehicle or suspect information was immediately available and anyone with information was asked to contact authorities.
