San Jose: Tire Fire Threatens Tire Store

01.13.2019 | 4:43 AM | SAN JOSE – Firefighters made quick work of a stack of tires that engulfed in flames adjacent to a tire store, Sunday morning.

Firefighters responded to reports of a fire outside a tire store in the 1300 block of West San Carlos Street around 4:43 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a large stack of tires engulfed in flames threatening the tire store.

Crews quickly attacked the blaze and achieved knockdown before flames could spread to the nearby building.

The cause of the fire was under investigation due to its suspicious nature.
