SAN JOSE Ranch Fire Burns 100 Acres

 

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 6-17-25 4:00 PM
LOCATION: Ranch Way and old Piedmont Road
AREA/CITY: San Jose
DETAILS:

1. SJFD and CalFire responded to multiple calls of a brush fire.
2. Upon arrival, firefighters located a fast moving brush fire threatening homes, and requested additional resources.
3. Air and Ground resources worked to contain the fire is it grew to approximately 100 acres.
4. Evacuations remain in place, and the fire is 40% contained with forward progress stopped.
