San Jose: Officer Hospitalized After Crash In Patrol Car

01.02.2019 | 2:00 AM | SAN JOSE – A police officer was hospitalized with a head injury after a crash, Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to the crash at the intersection of Tully and King roads around 2:00 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a two-vehicle crash involving a Ford Crown Victoria patrol car and another vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics treated a San Jose police officer from who suffered from head injury before transporting him to an area hospital.

The driver of the second vehicle who police say ran a red light refused treatment and was given a citation.

A street light was also downed as a result of the crash.
