San Jose: Man Arrested After Stabbing Hotel Worker

01.15.2019 | 1:40 AM | SAN JOSE – A hotel employee was hospitalized after being stabbed by a man who police quickly apprehended, Tuesday morning.

Police and fire officials responded to a reported stabbing at the Hilton Hotel located in the 300 block of Almaden Boulevard around 1:40 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a hotel employee who had been stabbed in the neck by a metal object.

Firefighter paramedics treated the male employee on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers quickly located the suspect who had fled upstairs in the hotel and placed him into custody without incident.

The motive behind the stabbing was not immediately available.
