San Jose: Homeless Encampment Burns
12.28.2018 | 2:45 AM | SAN JOSE – A homeless encampment went up in flames after a fire erupted, Friday morning.
Firefighters responded to reports of a vegetation fire in the 1700 block of Angela Street around 2:45 AM.
Crews arriving on scene located an approximately 1/3 acre fire centered around an apparent homeless encampment to the rear of two commercial buildings.
The fire was quickly contained within 15 minutes.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
