San Jose: Firefighters Free Person Trapped After Crash
01.15.2019 | 2:35 AM | SAN JOSE – Firefighters freed one person after a two-car crash, Tuesday morning.
Fire and police officials responded to the reported two-car crash on southbound Monterey Road just north of Bernal around 2:35 AM.
Units arriving on scene of the crash found both vehicles with major damage and one party trapped inside
Using the jaws of life and other power tools, firefighters freed the trapped victim within 10 minutes.
Both the trapped party and another individual were treated on scene before being transported to area hospitals.
Officers are investigating a combination of speed and rain as factors in the crash.
