SAN ELIJO FATAL CRASH, San Diego, CA

 

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 12-23-25 2:59 pm
LOCATION: 1600 block of San Elijo Rd
AREA/CITY:San Marcos
DETAILS:

1. At around 2:59 PM reports of a traffic collision came out in the area listed above.
2. On arrival first responders located two vehicles with major damage.
3. While attempting to extricate one of the drivers it was determined, they were deceased and pronounced on scene.
4. The other driver was transported to a trauma center for their injuries.
5. At this time, it appears the white vehicle was traveling westbound on SAN DIEGO Hill Road when it lost control jumped the median and collided with the other vehicle.
6. Eastbound lanes of San Alejo Road will be shut down for several hours as investigators determine the cause of the crash.
7. Traffic is heavily impacted as it is being rerouted.
