San Dimas: Downed Eucalyptus Tree Blocks Road

01.14.2019 | 9:30 PM | SAN DIMAS – A large Eucalyptus tree collapsed resulting in the closure of a road, Monday night.

Deputies responded to reports of a downed tree near the intersection of South Walnut and Arrow Highway around 9:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene located the large Eucalyptus tree blocking both lanes of the two-lane road.

City officials were requested to the scene to remove the tree while authorities conducted traffic control.

Heavy rains are believed to be a factor in the collapse.
