San Diego: Woman Killed by Hit And Run Driver

11.18.2018 | 12:19 AM | SAN DIEGO – Police were searching for a driver who fatally struck a female pedestrian before fleeing the scene, Sunday morning.

Police and fire officials responded to the intersection of Rosecrans and Newell Streets regarding reports of a auto versus pedestrian collision around 12:19 AM.

Units arriving on scene discovered an approximately 50-year-old female lying in the roadway. Firefighter paramedics responded and determined the woman to be deceased.

Police believe the woman was struck by a driver who fled the scene without rendering aid.

There were no immediate witnesses or suspect vehicle description.
