San Diego: Teenage Driver Crashes Into Great Clips

11.22.2018 | 8:220 AM | SAN DIEGO – A new teenage driver was uninjured after losing control and smashing into a hair salon, early Thursday morning.

Police and fire officials responded to a reported vehicle that collided with a building in the 14300 block of Penasquitos Drive around 8:20 AM.

Units arriving on scene found an Jeep SUV that had collided with a local Great Clips hair salon. The driver was uninjured however the building suffered significant damage.

No employees or patrons were inside the salon at the time of the crash.

Police are investigating speed and slick roads as potential factors in the collision.

A city building officials was requested to inspect the damaged building.
