San Diego: Suspected Murder-Suicide Leaves Five Dead, Including Three Children
11.16.2019 | 6:49 AM | SAN DIEGO – An episode of domestic violence lead to a murder-suicide that left two adults and three children dead, Saturday morning.
Authorities responded to reports of a shooting at a home in the 2100 block of Flintridge Drive in the Paradise Hills area around 6:49 AM.
Units arriving on scene located a three-year old child covered in blood outside of the home before making entry and discovering another five victims inside.
The additional five victims included a male and female adult along with three more children aged five, nine, and eleven.
Firefighter paramedics treated the eleven-year-old child on scene before transporting them to an area hospital where they remain in emergency surgery.
The remaining victims were all pronounced deceased on scene.
Authorities believe the incident to be a murder-suicide that evolved from a domestic dispute.
A firearm was recovered on scene and no suspect was believed to be outstanding.
An investigation is ongoing.
