San Diego: Suspect Opens Fire On Group Of Homeless
11.17.2018 | 3:40 AM | SAN DIEGO – A man was injured after an unknown suspect opened fire on a group of homeless individuals, early Saturday morning.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 400 block of Euclid Avenue around 3:40 AM.
Units arriving on scene located a homeless encampment on a sidewalk with one man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Firefighter paramedics responded to the scene and treated the man before transporting him to Mercy Hospital.
Initial reports indicate a vehicle drove up to the group of homeless. A man exited the vehicle and then opened fire on the group before fleeing.
The motive behind the shooting was unclear and officers were searching for potential suspects.
