San Diego: Semi Truck Crash Hospitalizes Mother And Child

12.17.2018 | 9:34 PM | SAN DIEGO – A child and his mother were hospitalized after a freeway crash that involved a semi-truck, Monday night.

Authorities were responded to reports of a stalled semi truck in southbound lanes of the I-805 north of Adams Avenue shortly after 9:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene located the semi truck and discovered that a vehicle car crashed into another truck that had stopped behind the stalled vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics responded to the scene and evaluated both the child and his mother before transporting them to an area hospital.

Multiple lanes on the I-805 were closed while officials worked to clear both semi trucks from the scene.
