San Diego: Police Quickly Arrest Men After Shooting

12.04.2018 | 11:40 AM | SAN DIEGO – Two men were in custody after they opened fire on a man, Tuesday morning.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at Lew’s Market at the intersection of 33rd Street and Imperial Avenue around 11:40 AM.

Units arriving on scene discovered three men were inside the Lew’s Market before the two men exited the store. The two men then opened fire on the third man when he exited the store.

Both the victim and suspects fled the scene soon after.

Officers located the suspected shooters close-by at the intersection of 35th and Webster and took them into custody without incident.

The gun used in the shooting was located in nearby bushes thanks to witnesses who spotted the suspects stashing it.

It was unclear whether the victim was injured in the shooting.
