San Diego: Pedestrian Seriously Inured After Being Hit By Car

12.16.2018 | 7:28 AM | SAN DIEGO – A pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injured after being struck by a car, Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to the reported crash in the 6700 block of Mission George Road around 7:28 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a male pedestrian down in the roadway suffering from major trauma.

Firefighter paramedics treated the pedestrian on scene before transporting him to an area hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian stayed on scene and cooperated with authorities.

Initial reports indicate the pedestrian was on the sidewalk before he walked into lanes and was struck.
