San Diego: Motorcyclist Fatally Ejected From Transition Road

11.11.2018 | 1:09 AM | SAN DIEGO – A motorcyclist was dead after striking the barrier wall of a transition road and flying off onto the ground below, early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a reported motorcycle down near the northbound I-5 and westbound SR-52 around 1:09 AM.

Units arriving on scene discovered that a male motorcyclist was traveling on the westbound on a transition road before apparently losing control and striking a barrier wall.

For the force of the impact against the barrier wall caused the motorcyclist to be ejected from his bike, falling at least 70 feet to his death.

The California Highway Patrol was on scene investigating.
