San Diego Motorcycle Rider Killed In Crash

 

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 2-3-25 4:35am
LOCATION: WB SR-78 & Rancho Santa Fe
AREA/CITY: San Marcos
DETAILS:

1. At around 4:35 AM, 911 received reports of a crash involving a motorcycle in westbound lanes
2. first responders arrived and located a rider down in lanes and a pick-up truck on its side
3. Paramedics Pronounced the rider deceased on scene
4. it is unknown if any other injuries were reported
5. A SIG alert has been issued for westbound lanes of SR-78 as CHP Investigates this crash
