San Diego: Man Seriously Injured Riding Bird Scooter

12.08.2018 | 2:11 PM | SAN DIEGO – A man riding a Bird scooter was hospitalized with serious injured after crashing, Saturday afternoon.

Police and fire officials responded to the reported man down next to a scooter in the 300 block of University Avenue around 2:11 PM.

Officials arriving on scene found a man suffering from major trauma to his head and transported him to UCSD Hospital in serious condition.

It was unclear whether the man was hit by a vehicle or simply crashed on his own.

Police were on scene investigating.
