San Diego: Man Injured After Being Shot

06.24.2020 | 10:25 PM | SAN DIEGO – A man was injured after being approached by a man who shot him, Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of 31st Street and Island Avenue in the Stockton area around 10:25 PM.

Units arriving on scene located an adult male down in the intersection suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene before transporting him to UCSD Medical Center in unknown condition.

Initial reports indicate the man was approached by an armed suspect who opened fire before fleeing.
