San Diego: Man Attacks, Robs Woman And Her Child At A Bus Stop
11.30.2018 | 10:15 AM | SAN DIEGO – Police were searching for a man who approached a mother and her daughter at a bus stop before attacking the pair and stealing a cell phone, Friday morning.
Police responded to an MTS bus stop near the intersection of Parkside Avenue and Redford Place around 10:15 AM.
Officers arriving on scene made contact with a mother and daughter pair who reported they were attacked and robbed of a cellphone as they waited for a bus.
The attacker, a male black, approached the pair and grabbed the daughter’s phone. A struggle ensured and the suspect threw the young woman to the ground before fleeing to a nearby car.
The vehicle was described as a brown Chevrolet SUV. Police believe the vehicle was occupied by an accomplice who acted as a getaway driver.
Police are vigorously searching for both suspects.
