San Diego: Heavy Winds Uproot Tree, Damage Parked Car

11.13.2018 | 10:25 AM | SAN DIEGO – Heavy winds uprooted a tree causing it to collapse onto a parked car, Tuesday morning.

Police responded to reports of a downed tree atop a parked car in the 600 block of 32nd Street shortly before 10:30 AM.

Officers arriving on scene located an approximately 40-foot tree that had fallen atop a parked car amidst gusty winds in the area.

The roof of the parked vehicle was damaged but no injuries were reported as the vehicle was unoccupied at the time.

Authorities were attempting to locate the owner of the vehicle.
