San Diego: Felon Escapes Police Custody Prompting Search
12.22.2018 | 6:20 AM | SAN DIEGO – A wanted felon with a no-bail warrant escaped police custody after being arrested for vandalism, Saturday morning.
Police arrested the man for vandalism at the Children’s Park near 1st Street and Harbor Drive around 6:00 AM.
While attempting to identify the man he broke loose and ran to a nearby grocery store.
A contingent of officers responded to the area but were unable to locate the man.
Later investigation revealed the man had a no-bail warrant for his arrest.
Officers are continuing to search for the suspect who remains at-large.
