San Diego: DUI Suspect Threatens Officers Before Being Tackles (Caught On Camera)

03.28.2020 | 2:56 AM | SAN DIEGO – A suspected DUI driver was tackled after threatening officers, early Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a driver passed out in a car facing wrong-way near the intersection of Bayview Heights Drive and Federal Boulevard around 2:56 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a male driver passed out inside a vehicle with fresh damage.

The officer woke up the driver who appeared visibly intoxicated and removed him from the vehicle.

During their investigation the driver became irate and began to threaten officers before he was tackled and taken into custody.

Officers are searching the area to locate where any property that may have been damaged connected to the fresh damage on the suspect vehicle.
