San Diego: DUI Driver Crashes Into House

11.17.2018 | 2:30 PM | SAN DIEGO – A suspected DUI driver was speeding through a neighborhood before she lost control and crashed into a home, Saturday. afternoon.

Police and fire officials responded to the 4900 block of Lucille Drive around 2:30 PM regarding reports of a vehicle that had crashed into a home.

Units arriving on scene located a vehicle that had crashed into a home with.

The female driver was seriously injured and firefighters immediately treated her on scene before transporting her to a nearby hospital.

The home was knocked off it’s foundation according to authorities. Luckily the residents were not home at the time of the crash.

Police are investigating whether the driver was under the influence at the time of the crash.

At least one open bottle of Sangria could be seen in the front seat of the car.
