San Diego: Broken Sprinkler Head Floods Condos
12.18.2018 | 10:00 AM | SAN DIEGO – A broken sprinkler head flooded at least two condos and displaced families, Tuesday morning.
Firefighters responded to reports of flooding inside a condominium complex in the 3200 block of 6th Avenue around 10:00 AM.
Crews arriving on scene discovered a contractor had broken a sprinkler head while working on the second flood of the building.
Firefighters quickly shut down the flow of water to the sprinkler but substantial flooding had already occurred.
The flooding displaced several people.
