San Diego: 17-Year-Old Shot Multiple Times

11.09.2018 | 11:09 PM | SAN DIEGO – A 17-year-old was hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds, late Friday night.

Officers responded to the intersection of 50th Street and Federal Boulevard regarding reports of shots fired around 11:00 PM. Units arriving on scene found no evidence of victim.

Shortly after, officers were notified that a 17-year-old male had been brought to nearby Paradise Valley Hospital with numerous gunshot wounds.

The male victim was then transported to UCSD Hospital in stable condition. His wounds are not considered life threatening.

San Diego police officers re-responded to the scene of the shooting and secured the area pending an investigation.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear and no suspect information was immediately available.
