San Bernardino: Wild Pursuit Crash Launches Patrol Vehicle Onto Truck (Caught On Camera)

03.01.2020 | 8:20 PM | SAN BERNARDINO – A wild crash caught on camera shows a patrol vehicle launching into the air before overturning onto a truck, Sunday evening.

The pursuit started when deputies attempted to stop blue sedan for a traffic infraction shortly after 8:00 PM.

The driver of the sedan failed to yield prompting a high-speed pursuit through city streets.

While chasing the driver a deputy in a marked patrol vehicle struck a dip and was launched into the air causing the vehicle to roll multiple times before coming to rest on top of a parked pickup truck.

Authorities terminated the pursuit to attend to the deputy but he was not seriously injured.

The suspect was able to escape but is still being sought by law enforcement.
