San Bernardino: Pedestrian Struck And Killed

06.09.2019 | 8:30 PM | SAN BERNARDINO – A pedestrian was dead after being struck by a car, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Highland Avenue and Macy Street in the Muscoy area around 8:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a person down in the roadway and pronounced them deceased.

The driver that struck the pedestrian remained on scene and appeared to be cooperating with law enforcement.

Both directions of Highland Avenue were closed between Pepper Avenue and Macy Street while authorities investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash.
