San Bernardino: Firefighters Rescue Two Victims Trapped After Crash

02.27.2020 | 7:21 PM | SAN BERNARDINO – Two people had to be cut free from the wreckage of a crash, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision with a victim trapped near the intersection of East 40th Street and North Parkside Drive around 7:21 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a two-car crash with two patients trapped in one vehicle.

Firefighters used the jaws of life and other tools to free the trapped victims within 15 minutes before transporting them to an area hospital in unknown condition.

It was unclear if the driver of the second vehicle was injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
