San Bernardino: Driver Dead After Hit And Run Crash Into Big Rig

12.19.2018 | 11:35 PM | SAN BERNARDINO – A driver was dead after crashing into a big rig, Wednesday night.

Officials responded to reports of a crash on the eastbound I-210 freeway just west of H Street around 11:35 PM.

Crews arriving on scene located a minivan on its side that had smashed into the rear of big rig.

Firefighter paramedics worked to free the driver of the minivan who was trapped in the wreckage but determined they were deceased on scene.

The driver of the big rig was uninjured.

Initial reports indicate big rig caused the minivan to lose control before crashing into another big rig.

Witnesses say the driver of the big rig that caused the crash left the scene.
