San Bernardino: Big Rig Backs Over Sleeping Man Behind Food 4 Less

08.23.2019 | 1:00 AM | SAN BERNARDINO – Police are investigating after a big rig backed over a man who was sleeping behind a Food 4 Less Supermarket, early Friday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian behind the Food 4 Less Supermarket located in the 500 block of 2nd Street around 1:00 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a big rig that had reportedly backed up over an adult male who was believed to be sleeping.

Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

The driver of the big rig remained on scene and was cooperating with law enforcement.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
