Salinas: House Fire Displaces Family

01.01.2019 | 3:35 PM | SALINAS – A family was displaced after a fire broke out, Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire near the intersection of Lafayette Way and Delancey Drive around 3:35 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a single story residence with heavy fire showing from the garage.

Crews attacked the blaze and were able to knockdown flames within 30 hours.

The family along with their animals escaped injury but were displaced as a result of the fire.

Authorities were on scene investigating the cause of the fire.
