SADDLE ROCK Fatal Shooting In Houston, TX

DETAILS:
- It was reported a female called 911 after she heard someone trying to break into her residence.
- The female’s current boyfriend told her to hide.
- The two male suspects were able to force entry into the residence and the female’s boyfriend opened fired on the two suspects.
- Both suspects exited. One fell near the street. The other got into a grey Jeep and fled.
- Arriving officers located a Jeep matching the description fleeing the area.
- That jeep took off on officers and a pursuit ensued.
- The jeep crashed in a bayou near 2715 Frick Rd.
- The only occupant, the driver, was taken into custody and a gun was recovered from that Jeep.
- Officers arriving at the residence located a male with gun shot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by HFD.
- It was later determine the deceased male was the female’s ex-boyfriend.
- At this time the male and female are cooperating with officer’s.
- Investigation is underway.
