RV Fire Threatens Building and Compromises Power Lines

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: O2.19.24 / 11:12PM
LOCATION: 23300 Mariposa Ave
AREA/CITY: Torrance
DETAILS:

1. LACOFD firefighters arrived on scene to find a fully engulfed RV.
2. Flames from the blaze threatened a nearby commercial structure, but firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading to the building.
3. Power lines directly above the burning RV were compromised from the flames.
4. It’s not known at this time if the RV was occupied at the time of the incident or how the fire started.
