Rubidoux: One Killed After Crash Sends Cars Flying Off Freeway

03.13.2020 | 11:14 PM | RUBIDOUX – One person was killed and three others were injured after a crash sent two cars flying off a freeway, late Friday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision with multiple patients near the westbound SR-60 Freeway at Hall Avenue around 11:14 PM.

Units arriving on scene located two vehicles that had overturned as they rolled down an embankment off the freeway.

Firefighter paramedics treated and transported three victims from the vehicles while a fourth victim was pronounced deceased on scene.

Access to the scene was made difficult by treacherous terrain a heavy brush and required first responders to cut a lock to a nearby waste management facility in order to gain entry.
