Rollover Crash With CPR In Progress In Playa Del Rey

At approximately 8:08 p.m. on April 28, 2026, emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash near Vista Del Mar in the Playa Del Rey area.

Witnesses reported hearing engines revving moments before the crash, with one vehicle possibly racing before losing control. The vehicle struck a parked SUV and overturned.

The driver was found unresponsive, and CPR was in progress at the scene before the victim was transported to a trauma center in critical condition.

A witness on scene reported assisting in pulling the driver from the wreckage prior to the arrival of first responders.

Vista Del Mar was shut down in both directions as authorities investigated the crash.
