Road Rage Shooting Leaves One Injured on 60 Freeway

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 4-3-24, 9:40 p.m.
LOCATION: WB 60 and Pyrite
AREA/CITY: Jurupa Valley
DETAILS:

1. There aren’t many details other than a man has been shot on the freeway and transported to a local area hospital.
2. At this time, only one person has been transported.
3. It is unknown who the shooter was, but it appears to be road rage-related.
4. As of 1 a.m., CHP is canvasing the area and has located multiple rounds on the freeway.
5. The Forensics team is on the scene.
6. A family member who did not want to be on camera arrived and said a vehicle pulled up next to the victim and fired multiple rounds into the vehicle, but CHP could not confirm that at this time.
7. In the new video, you can see officers walking the freeway searching for evidence and the forensics team investigating and gathering evidence on the scene.
8. The victim’s status is unknown at this time.
