Road Rage Leads to Attack on Motorist | Chula Vista

02.02.2022 | 7:15 AM | CHULA VISTA – The victim told us that he and his wife were on the SB-125 in Spring Valley when a Hispanic male in a silver-colored Volkswagen Jetta cut in front of him and started to do hand gestures and throw items at the victims’ car.

This continued as the two drivers went south on the SR-125 through Bonita and Chula Vista with the suspect following the victim at close range and then would go in front of the driver and brake checked him.

The victim pulled over at Otay Lakes Rd and was starting to call the CHP for help when the suspect came at him with a bat.

The victim pleaded with the suspect to drop the bat.

The suspect mentioned something about going back to jail and started knocking the victim down and then started to hit the victim in the head with a bat.

The suspect got back in his car and fled.

The victim and his wife drove to their employers’ parking lot in Otay and called for help.

The firefighters and paramedics treated his injuries and the CHP took the report.

The victim was able to give the license plate to the CHP.
