Riverside: Shootout Occurs Near Liquor Store

08.01.2020 | 12:10 AM | RIVERSIDE – A shootout occurred near a liquor store and sent bullets flying but nobody was injured, early Saturday morning.

The shootout occurred at Campus Liquor located in the 3300 block of Iowa around 12:10 AM.

According to witnesses a group of two people in different vehicles got into an argument which escalated to gunfire.

Both parties fired at least 11 gunshots and one of the bullets hit the liquor store window.

No injuries were reported and all suspects fled prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
