Riverside: Shooting At Apartment Complex Leaves One Gravely Injured

08.21.2020 | 1:10 AM | RIVERSIDE – A shooting at an apartment complex left one person gravely injured, early Friday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with a victim down at the Sunstone Place Apartment Homes located in the 3800 block of Polk Street around 1:10 AM.

Units arriving on scene located one person down suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Firefighter paramedics rushed the victim to an area hospital where they were reported to be in grave condition.

The area surrounding the shooting was closed to the public while police investigated.

No suspects were immediately apprehended.
