Riverside: Robber Shoots Circle-K Clerk

12.05.2018 | 11:37 PM | RIVERSIDE – A convenience store clerk was hospitalized after being shot during a robbery, Wednesday night.

Police and fire officials responded to the reported shooting at a Circle-K in the 5700 block of Sycamore Canyon Boulevard.

Units arriving on scene discovered a male believed to be a store clerk who had been shot during a reported robbery attempt.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene before transporting him to an area hospital.

Officers cordoned off the area while they continued their investigation into the shooting.

No suspect description was immediately available.
