Riverside: Residential Fire Hospitalizes Elderly Woman

11.04.2018 | 6:07 PM | RIVERSIDE – A elderly lady was hospitalized with smoke inhalation after a fire, Sunday evening.

Firefighters responded to the 3700 block of Linwood Place regarding reports of a house fire just past 6:00 PM.

Crews arriving on scene to the location found a residence well involved with flames and quickly attacked the blaze.

After about 50 minutes crews established knockdown of the blaze. The home however, was a loss.

An elderly female neighbor suffered smoke inhalation during the incident and was transported to an area hospital.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
