Riverside: Public Library Evacuated After Man Makes Threats

11.30.2018 | 4:00 PM | RIVERSIDE – A library was evacuated and police were investigating after a man made threats, Friday evening.

Officers responded to a disturbance at the public library in the 3500 block of Mission Inn avenue around 4:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene learned a man was making threats and decided to evacuate the library as a precaution.

The suspect was located shortly after and placed in police custody.

The nature of the threats and circumstances surround the incident were not immediately clear.
