- Riverside Police Department and Riverside Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle vs a pedestrian call at the intersection of Galleria At Tyler Mall.
- When the first responding units arrived they found a woman down in the street and a vehicle with moderate front-end damage.
- The victim was in full arrest and paramedics performed CPR until AMR arrived.
- The woman was transported to a local area hospital suffering from critical injuries, her current condition is not known.
- According to police, the woman flew about 50 feet after being hit.
- The driver did remain on the scene and was cooperating with police.
- Police do not believe that drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision.
