Riverside: Man Fatally Ejected After High-Speed Crash

12.23.2018 | 1:40 PM | RIVERSIDE – A man was killed after being ejected during a high-speed crash, Sunday afternoon.

Authorities responded to a reported traffic collision near the intersection of Linden Street and Chicago Avenue around 1:40 PM.

Crews arriving on scene located a two-car crash with at least one person laying in the roadway.

Firefighter paramedics evaluated the man down and discovered he was deceased on scene.

Initial reports indicate the the deceased male was ejected from his vehicle after crash.

Witnesses say the man was driving at erratically at high-speeds prior the to running a red light and crashing into another vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle was also injured and transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Police diverted traffic away from the intersection while they investigated.
