DETAILS:
- Riverside Fire Department and Riverside Police Department responded to a reported sheared hydrant, water emergency call at Miller Middle School.
- When Riverside Fire Department arrived, they found a sheared hydrant that had been hit by a car, but the car had fled the scene.
- A Western Municipal Water District Rep was called to come and shut off the hydrant.
- The geyser was about 50 feet high and took over an hour to shut the hydrant down.
- In the video, you can see the power of the water flowing down the street, sidewalks, and through the flower beds.
